    By clicking on the screen of the course you desire from the course list, you can review the contents and features of each course. Please follow the steps provided when you click on the "Subscribe" button for the course to make your subscription.
  • Can I order if I live outside of US?
    The website is intended for residents within the United States. If you reside outside of the United States and wish to apply, please do so through Staynative based in Germany (here).
  • Ordering Multiple Courses
    If you wish to apply for multiple courses, please proceed with the 2 course (4 books) or 3 course ( 6 books) options from the course list. Discounts will be applied. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at
  • Can I order 3 books?
    At this time, we do not accept orders for 3 books. This year marks the inaugural year for Staynative.US subscription service in the United States. We will strive to expand the service in the future. Thank you for your understanding and support.
  • Is it OK to order a course which is not for my child's age?
    In general, we leave the choice to mothers, but the first step is for the child to be able to understand and enjoy the picture book. The recommended age takes into account the child's level of understanding for that year, so we recommend books for the recommended age rather than jumping to a higher level. For children who may have difficulty focusing on books or storytelling, we suggest considering a course one level below. Of course, we also respect the choice of taking a higher-level course with the purpose of learning. Since each child's interest in picture books is unique, we suggest using the sample reading as a reference before making a decision.
  • Do subscriptions renew automatically?
    No, you will need to choose your desired course for each fiscal year and make a new order. There will be no automatic continuation of payments. A fiscal year typically spans from April to March, covering 12 months. launched its service in the middle of the fiscal year 2023. Therefore, for this fiscal year, it will be from October to March, covering 6 months.
  • Can I pay by bank transfer?
    For customers who wish to make a bank transfer, please contact us at In this case, we will ask you to make a payment for a whole fiscal year at once. Thank you.
  • I will be away for a long period of time, such as temporarily returning to my country.
    If you will be temporarily returning home and will be absent for an extended period, we will refrain from sending out shipments during your absence and will arrange to send them all at once after your return.   • What do I do if I have same books from a subscription?
    When ordering, if you already have certain books, please feel free to mention them in the comment section. We will be happy to provide alternative picture books for you.
  • I have already been charged even though the book delivery starts from October.
    At the time of order, charges will occur. There will be no automatic renewal after the sixth charge. For instance, if you apply in September, charges will occur from September to February of the following year. The distribution of picture books will be from October to March of the following year.
  • When do you ship?
    Shipments will be made every month during the fourth week of the preceding month. For instance, the October edition will be dispatched by September 30th. Once the shipment is sent out, we will notify you with a shipping confirmation email.
  • Can I change a course?

  • By when should I notify you of cancellation?
    In order to achieve a low price, we have been importing picture books from Japan for the past six months. Additionally, our pricing is tailored to the unique nature of our subscription service. As a result, we generally request applications based on a one-year subscription (for the 2023 fiscal year, it will be a six-month subscription). With the exception of sudden repatriation or other unforeseen circumstances, we have implemented a three-month cancellation period. However, please note that since the subscription is valid until March, if you notify us in January or February, it will be valid until the end of March. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. (This is to evenly distribute the costs for six months between you and Staynative). Thank you.
  • How can I order multiple courses?
    If you are interested in subscribing to 4 books in 2 courses or 6 books in 3 courses, you can apply through our website. Please select the 2 course(4 books) or 3 course ( 6 books ) option from the course list. However, if you wish to subscribe to more than 4 courses, perhaps as a joint purchase with friends or for any other reason, please contact us at for further assistance.
  • Changing payment methods
    From a privacy perspective, we do not store or view any of your payment information. Therefore, if you wish to use a new payment method, we kindly ask you to cancel your current subscription and request a refund. Afterward, you can reapply using the new payment method.   • Books haven't delivered yet.
    Delivery times may vary depending on your district's postal situation. For regular deliveries, if the package has not been delivered by the third week of the month, please contact us at We will provide you with a tracking number, and we can also check the tracking status for you. For customers who have opted for insurance, if the package has not been delivered by the third week of the month, please contact us at We will investigate the tracking status and, in case of loss, file a claim. *Please note that only for the first occurrence, we will cover the cost of resending the package.

  • Credit card payment doesn't go through
    Some credit card companies may send a confirmation email to customers after order to verify if the payment is valid. If there is no response, the payment may be canceled. Therefore, please be sure to pay attention to the email after ordering.
  • What payment methods are accepted?
    You can use credit cards and PayPal for payment. Billing will occur monthly for 12 months starting from the month you signed up. If you prefer to make a bank transfer, please contact us separately, and we will assist you with the process.
